Frequently Asked Question

What is the proper product receipt proceedure?
Count the total number of pieces and match to Delivery Slip attached
  • If the total number of pieces delivered does not match that on the Delivery Slip, it should be noted on the receiving document before signing.  Confirm the discrepancy with the delivery driver.

Match each delivered product to Delivery Slip attached
  • If products delivered do not match those on the Delivery Slip, please contact CWC customer service as soon as possible so that we can resolve the descrepancy with as little impact on installation schedule as possble.

Compare the physical condition of the product delivered with the photo attached
  • Our carriers have been instructed not to restack or top-load any skids we send out.  If the physical condition of the products or skids does not match the condition shown on the attached skid, please note the condition of the products or skids as you receive the product.  If possible, take photos of skids from several different angles for your record.  This will help freight claims should one be required.

Make copies of Delivery Slips for use during installation
  • Delivery Slips contain information require for installation.  Each delivery slip contains detail listing of components that make up each product.  This is particularly true for Stocking Program products where each product comes in many packages.  Using the detail product component listing on the Delivery Slips in combination with the labels on the product cartons will make your installation a lot easier later.
