Frequently Asked Question

Why do hutch doors look like steps?
  • The main causes for the doors to appear having steps between doors are two.  If all the doors tend to step in one direction (for example, the left sides of the doors are always low and the right sides always high), the the cause is in levelling of the table the the hutch is sitting on.  On the other hand, if one door is higher than the others, then it is a simple matter of vertical alignment.  To adjust vertical alignment, loosen the screws on the hinge mounting plates slightly and align the door with the others.

  • Installation of hutches involves first leveling the tables below them and adjustment of door alignments at the end.
