Frequently Asked Question

Why are some of the hutch doors overlapped while others have big gaps in between?
  • The reason for hutch doors to have big gaps and overlaps is that some of the side doors are installed at the center and center doors installed at the sides.  Center doors are the two doors at the center and normally installed on the vertical dividers between the hutch top and hutch shelf.  Sides doors go on either side of the hutch and are installed on the gables (legs) of the hutch.

  • To resolve this issue, remove all doors by unclipping from the mounting plate and leaving the mounting plate still attached to the gables and vertical divider(s).  Identify the side doors and center doors by looking for the labels or by looking at the hinges.  Please see article about how to identify center doors and side doors.  Remount the doors accordingly.
